My first book from CL Parker and I loved it!! Although I was not happy when my iPad said 98% done and I knew the story was not going to end! A cliffhanger, hence the word “trio”. This book had me hooked from the beginning. Two strong characters, Shaw Matthews and Cassidy Whalens, sports agents fighting for the same account. Playing dirty in and out of the boardroom to land a deal that could make them known. A well written story with enough pent up chemistry between the two charactersyou could feel the lust pouring off of them. The dialogue between the two characters flowed so easily and at times had me laughing. The sex was angry but still had a sense of thoughtfulness in there. After all, in the alley, he did ask if she was afraid of heights before lifting her up! I loved everything about this book. The story, the characters, the writing and I am waiting PATIENTLY for the next book! Thank you CL Parker! Add me to your list of stalkers… followers!
