Birthquake BL Berry

Make sure you are not reading this in bed at night while your significant other is sleeping. You will be laughing and will either shake the bed or be loud. This book is that entertaining and funny. Itโ€™s like reading the diary of a pregnant woman told in true form. If you are pregnant or never have been, BL Berry gives a comical insight to impending motherhood and the road that got her there.

Jeff was late for a flight. When he was that last evil person to get on the plane, you know the one that everyone scowls at because they are late, he chooses a middle seat next to the adorable Henley. Fumbling his way through a conversation with her that includes how well he is packed below (his suitcase in the underbelly) they exchange numbers. Fast forward to his brothers wedding, an empty ballroom, and a maintenance holding your Spanxx, and Henley finds herself pregnant. As she goes through all the joys of pregnancy, her relationship just goes stronger with Jeff. Jeff, along with Henleyโ€™s bff Tara, support her throughout the pregnancy including letting your boob be grabbed through a contraction. But no matter what, the love between Jeff and Henley is strong and easy going and is how relationships should be. Even when your boyfriend thinks you should have a natural pregnancy without drugs. Umm, just no.

BL Berry, you nailed it with this story! This book is definitely going to be one of my top reads for this year. Thank you for bringing us a story to make us laugh and love all at the same time.

About the Author

BL Berry grew up telling lies. Eventually, those lies turned into elaborate stories and when she grew older she started writing them down. When sheโ€™s not hiding behind her computer writing, you can find her spending time with her family or catching up on her favorite TV shows. Rumor has it sheโ€™ll sleep when sheโ€™s dead.

Residing outside of Kansas City, she lives with her husband, two children and black pug. Each day her family thanks the makers of e-Readers, because without which they would be living amongst stacks and stacks of romance novels. Conversely, each day B.L. Berry thanks the makers of e-Readers for hiding her book-hoarding tendencies.
