First off, the cover. Damn! When the cover fits perfectly for the story and main character, you know the book is going to be amazing. LB Dunbar has brought us another book for the over 40 crowd. Let me just say, a man with silver hair can knock your socks off.
Brut and Lily have been sidestepping each other for 22 years when Lily had her heart broken by Brut. Now they find themselves at the same beach house for a week long vacation. Instead of trying to avoid each other, they decide to give into the week of being together and see what happens. What they discover is that the attraction is still there. So begins what should have happened years ago. All thanks to Brut’s brother Hank who set Brut and Lily up.
These two have incredible chemistry thanks to LB Dunbar. I love the fact that once again she has written a story where the characters are older and have lived the life they wanted and are doing what they have set out to do. They are beautifully written and it was very easy to get lost in their story.
Once again LB Dunbar, thank you for incredible storytelling and showing us that life over 40 can still be a lot fun.

tales, medieval knights, Regency debauchery, and alpha males. She loves a deep
belly laugh and a strong hug. Occasionally, she has the energy of a Jack
Russell terrier. Accused—yes, that’s the correct word—of having an overactive
imagination, to her benefit, such an imagination works well. Author of over two

chaos; sexy rom-coms for the over 40; and intrigue on an island of redemption.
In addition, she is earning a title as the “myth and legend lady” for her
modernizations of mythology as elda lore. Her other duties in life include
mother to four children and wife to the one and only.
