Love doesn’t care about age or health. Love is finding the one person who sees you for you, despite your saggy belly or age. For Edie Williams this all comes true while on a vacation with her kids in Hawaii. There she meets Tommy Carrigan, a gray haired, tattooed hunk of a man who seems out of her league. How wrong she was. One week with Tommy Carrigan and Edie feels alive again. He makes her feel and gives her some hot sex she never got from her ex. He showed her how to live again. He showed her what true love really is.

Tommy and Edie’s story is refreshing to read. LB Dunbar writes them as real people that some may be able to relate to. They aren’t perfect. They aren’t 20 somethings who don’t say what they want. They are mature (or somewhat mature) adults who have experienced life and are looking for someone who makes them feel wanted and special. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I loved everything about this book. The chemistry created for the couple by LB Dunbar is why her books are so incredible to read. She can draw you in with such an easy reading flow it’s hard to put her books down. I think I started to read slower so it wouldn’t end. I don’t know how many times I thank the author for her ability to tell stories that leave a memory. This is a book I will remember. So once again LB Dunbar, thank you for giving us Edie and Tommy and letting people know that over 40 is not a bad thing.
