Fighting for Forever (Fighting Series Book 6) by JB Salsbury
ARC received in return for honest review
Take one exotic dancer with purple streaks in her hair looking for revenge, pair her up with a gorgeous surfer/UFL fighter known as Baywatch and you get the brilliant next book from JB Salsbury’s Fighting Series, Fighting For Forever. This is the story of Trix and Mason, characters met through other books in the series. And what a story it is!!
Trix or Beatriks is a good girl from a good family who turned to dancing to find revenge for her sister. She’s on a mission until she meets Mason. Mason, the good boy who seems to be always passed up by the girls for the bad boys, is determined to make Trix his and help her get past her demons. Trix has to decide if Mason is worth leaving the past behind and having her Forever.
Any stalker..er..fangirl like myself always looks forward to a new book from JB. Her writing is like no other, the stories blow you away, and if you get a chance to meet her, she is one of the sweetest people you will meet with a kickass shoe style! Everytime I pick up one of her books I am blown away and think I have a new favorite. Her characters are all one big crazy family and each somehow plays a part in the story of Mason and Trix. So don’t ask me to choose a favorite.
I turn more people onto this series. There is nothing else like it. I don’t know how she does it, but she keeps coming up with stories that you never would imagine. Friends are jealous when they find out I got to read it early! Ha! They will have to wait! JB, thank you once again for your awesomeness and I am thrilled to have had the chance once again to read this early! You are the bomb and I still owe a shot to my local girl!!
It’s time to move on—give up the dream for revenge—and no one shows me that more than the mop-headed fighter with eyes the color of the ocean.
If anyone can teach me just how sweet life can be, it’s him. But first, I’d have to let go.
Mase. Baywatch. Mayhem.
I’m known by many names, but there’s only one that stirs panic and worry in my gut every time I’m called it.
Brother.
I’ve bailed him out of trouble for years, so when he turns up in Vegas and asks for me, I’m prepared for the worst. And the worst is exactly what I get in the form of a lilac-eyed beauty named Trix.
She’s everything I hate about Vegas: a stripper, loose with her body and her morals. But there’s something about her, a complexity that she buries deep, and I’m determined to uncover it.
The deeper I go, the less I understand. When I finally learn the truth, we engage in a battle where life and death hang in the balance. Fighting could kill us both, but if we win, forever is the prize.
