Knowing there was series takeoff from the Hard Ink guys left me no doubt about reading. The Ravens were there for the guys of Hard Ink so we got a small taste of them. Now, we get the full bite of the MC that is anything but your stereotypical MC. Of course these guys have all the basics required, looks, bikes, attitudes, but also an underlying determination to take care of people.
Haven Randall is one of these people. Kidnapped by the Church Gang and rescued, she is now hiding out with the Ravens. She has also caught the eye of Dare Kenyon, the President of the club. Haven is the daughter a small time mob boss in Texas who has kept her sheltered most of her life. She is ready to experience life and makes a list. Dare becomes a part of that list. What wasn’t expected from that list is the unexpected romance between these two. Dare is older, Haven needs to be hidden. No way it can work out. But then again, these are new experiences.
I truly enjoyed this break off series. Some of the Hard Ink make an appearance and it’s a refreshing look at a MC series. I’m excited about what more is to come from Laura Kaye and the Raven Riders. No doubt it will be good. Thank you, Laura Kaye for the start of something good!
