After The Storm by Faith Andrews

ARC received from author for honest review

First off, thank you Faith Andrews for the ARC! Already a huge fan, I had no doubt you had good plans for Noah. If you read Man of My Dreams than you have met Noah. He lost the girl of his dreams, Mia, who he had known from high school and had met up and rekindled a relationship after meeting up at their reunion. But he has now moved to the west coast and runs a successful construction company. Still hurt from being spurned by Mia, he tries to just keep himself busy with work. Willow is young and enthusiastic and a great asset to his company. But she is young. Unwilling to mix business with pleasure and both having been hurt badly before they try to deny their chemistry. When that doesn’t work and they give in, the past and Hurricane Sandy send them back east to face his past and see what she will never be able to give him. Once everything is cleared will they be able to move forward?

You definitely need to read Man of My Dreams first to know who Noah is. I am glad the books went the way they did. Noah became an even better man and person without Mia. Faith Andrews knows how to write her characters and draw you in. Once you are in, you won’t put the book down until you are done. Thank you Faith Andrews for yet another amazing book and giving Noah a HEA!

Synopsis

Noah and Willow know not to mix business with pleasure. They’ve both been burned in the past, he thinks she’s too young, and she definitely shouldn’t hook up with her boss. So, they don’t. Instead, they build a friendship, while fighting an obvious attraction.

But when Noah’s called back East after a natural disaster that threatens his home and the loved ones he left behind, he’s forced to face his past with Willow by his side.

Will their turbulent pasts hold them back from giving into fate? Or will the two of them realize that they’ve been each other’s calm before the storm?
