Shopping For a Billionaire’s Honeymoon Julia Kent

Declan and Shannon’s stories just keep getting better! I tried to keep my giggling quiet next to my sleeping husband but had a hard time.

Declan and Shannon are on their way to Hawaii for their honeymoon.  She is ready for non-stop sex, he can’t get off his phone. Everyone wants to add their two cents to their honeymoon. Dec injects her with an EpiPen when she is nearly stung by a bee. Adrenaline plus Shannon equals non-stop laughing. The hotel won’t stop interrupting their time. Nothing is going right. As it seems to be always with these two.

So Shannon takes matters into her own hands, with the help of Grace. Quiet, secluded, cell phone free cottage on the beach. This is what a honeymoon is supposed to be like! Remembering why they love each other. But when Declan tempts fate, he is married to Shannon after all, and suggests some quiet lovemaking on a hill, well let’s just say there is a lot of pinching going on.

I cannot wait for the next book in this series. Everyone just seems to get better and better and I love the romance that Julia Kent has created for these characters. It’s not perfect but it’s theirs. Dec is definitely my favorite billionaire. Keep’em coming Julia Kent! I can’t get enough!

He is addicted to his phone and his new role as CEO. I’m addicted to getting some on my own honeymoon.

One of these things is not like the other.

I am pretty sure a serial killer’s lair is the only place in the world where I could stash my new husband so he can’t manage the acquisition of our new company.

And that seems a little drastic.

But only a little…

All I want is one week alone with him. Hours in bed, legs tangled together in ecstasy, room service and long walks on the beach in Hawaii.

Not vying for his kisses around a Bluetooth microphone. The Borg aren’t sexy in real life.

So I’m taking matters into my own hands and hitting “reboot” on our honeymoon.

We’re going to a place so remote that no one can find us.

Not even my mother.

Shopping for a Billionaire’s Honeymoon is now a full-length book of 150+ pages, with both Shannon and Declan’s points of view. Originally published with only Shannon’s viewpoint, this expanded edition is a result of reader feedback. People wanted to know what Declan was up to – so here you go. This book is meant to be read after Shopping for a Billionaire’s Wife and/or Shopping for a CEO’s Fiancée, but if you read it out of order (or even as a standalone), that’s fine. Shannon and Declan forgive you. 😉

My entire business empire rests in the hands of a man who just got dropped because my wife threw him in the toilet.

But other hands are resting on me. Moving on me. Stroking me over my clothes, pulling me out of the zone. The blue chemical water is a turnoff, but those hands…

Damn her.

Damn fine.

Business is my life. Giving in to baser urges is also my life. I’m a man.

My palm finds her knee, gliding up over those firm, sweet thighs, finding them bare and smooth, perfect for inhaling. Her skin is its own perfume, the swell of her hip crying out for a firm hand. I entwine the thin fabric of her garter – oh, sweet Jesus, it is so warm — between my fingers, grasping at it as if I’m playing tug of war with myself.

Stay in the business zone and hold steady.

Pull hard on the lifeline Shannon’s garters represent, and join her erotic zone.

I have to make a decision. I’m torn.

So are Shannon’s garters now. Oops.

Decision made.

“Hey!” she squeals, her voice going to that timbre that says the words that are about to come out of her mouth mean the opposite of what she feels. “You can’t tear my clothes off like that!”

“I can, and I will.”

“Didn’t you catch that line in the wedding vows at our ceremony yesterday? ‘I, Shannon Eveline Jacoby, do promise to let my faithful husband rip off my lacy lingerie at will.’”

“I don’t remember that line.”

“Let me help you remember.”

Before she can answer, I shut her up with a kiss.

5 Star Review ☆ Badd Ass (Badd Brothers Book #2) by Jasinda Wilder

Badd Ass (Badd Brothers #2)  Jasinda Wilder

Reviewed by Jacqui

Ketchikan, Alaska. Where cruise ships port and home of the Badd brothers. This time we meet Zane Badd. An ex-Navy SEAL back in his hometown to fulfill his dad’s wish of all eight brothers being home and running the family bar for a year. Zane is big, bad, and gorgeous as all the Badd brothers are. But, also struggling from his last tour and loss of a friend.

Mara is in HR and in Ketchikan to meet up with a friend. Formerly an army medic, she steps into action when another of the Badd brothers is injured during a wedding celebration outside the bar. Her medic training kicks in and she catches the eye of Zane. After a lust filled night together, they agree to try something neither is good at. Practice dating. Mara is only there for a week but feels something so different for Zane she gives it a try. She has trust issues and makes this a challenge for Zane. Will one week be enough?
I loved the chemistry of these two characters. Honesty and facing fears along with some mind blowing sex makes this latest book from Jasinda Wilder a must. You also get a glimpse into the next Badd brother. Thanks Jasinda Wilder again for giving us another great read! Bring on the next Badd brother!

Blog Page Break 2

I was a Sixty-Eight Whiskey—a combat medic. So when I hear someone shout “MEDIC!” training just kicks in. It’s automatic, immediate. I don’t think I even saw the guy whose leg I tended to, not really. All I saw was him. Zane Badd. His tuxedo fit him like he’d been sewn into it, and his eyes reflected the fury and the hardness of a combat veteran, but when he looked at me, he just…softened. By the time I had his brother patched, Zane and I were both covered in blood, and I knew I had to have him.

The trouble with Zane isn’t getting him, it’s keeping him.

And the trouble with me is, even if I could hold onto a man like Zane, I wouldn’t know what to do with him. It’s not in my nature, and if life has taught me anything, it’s to not trust anyone, least of all men like Zane. He’s a warrior through and through, hard, muscular, gorgeous, tenacious, and yet oddly tender toward me.

Experience and instincts are telling me to run from Zane Badd as fast as possible, but my heart and my body are telling me to stay, to hold on and not let go. Yeah, it’s a conflict as old as humanity itself, but it’s brand new for me.

*   *   *

Life as Navy SEAL doesn’t exactly prepare you for normality. Yeah, I can tend bar and goof off with my seven crazy brothers, but what do I do when the woman of my dreams—dreams I didn’t know I’d had until I saw her—explodes into my life like a frag grenade? I’m trained to attack, to win, to survive at any costs, and figuring out what to do about a woman like Amarantha Quinn will take every scrap of tenacity and courage I possess. Combat is easy, it turns out, in comparison to facing your own fears and scars.

And then sometimes, just when you think you’ve got it finally figured out, fate throws you a screwball and sends everything FUBAR.

Badd Motherf*cker (Badd Brothers #1) Jasinda Wilder

Reviewed by Jacqui

I don’t know how Jasinda Wilder does it. Her life revolves around raising her kids, have a winery, and turning out so many amazing books!

Badd Motherf*cker takes place in Ketchikan, Alaska a small tourist town where cruise ships come to port and tourists want to experience the local charm. I know, I’ve been there, done that. How did I miss this bar?! Sebastian Badd owns the family bar after the death of his father. While it’s not doing well, things are about to change for Bast, the bar, and the port city of Ketchikan. All courtesy of a stranger in a wedding dress and his seven equally good looking brothers.

Dru was supposed to be married today. Wanting to calm her nerves by seeing her future husband, her nerves are shattered when she finds him with a bridesmaid and his pants around his ankles. Desperate to get away from everything related to him, she hops on a random small plane and heads off to who knows where. When she lands in Ketchikan, she stumbles into the closest bar and eventually into the heart of the hunky owner.

Jasinda Wilder gives you what you expect from her books. Laughter, tears, and some good hot and steamy sex. This book will not disappoint and I cannot wait to meet more of the Badd brothers. Thank you Jasinda Wilder for another fun read!

Your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, right? That’s what they say, at least. I went into that day hoping I’d get the happiest day of my life. What I got? The worst. I mean, you really can’t get any worse of a day without someone actually dying.

So…I may have gotten just a little drunk, and maybe just a tad impetuous…

And landed myself in a dive bar somewhere in Alaska, alone, still in my wedding dress, half-wasted and heart-broken.

Eight brothers, one bar.

Sounds like the beginning to a bad joke, yeah?

I kinda think so.

Wanna hear another joke? A girl walks into a bar, soaking wet and wearing a wedding dress.

I knew I shouldn’t have touched her. She was hammered, for one thing, and heartbroken for another. I’ve chased enough tail to know better. That kinda thing only leads to clinginess, and a clingy female is the last thing on this earth I need.

I got a bar needs running, and only me to run it–at least until my seven wayward brothers decide to show their asses up…

Then this chick walks in, fine as hell, wearing a soaked wedding dress that leaves little enough to the imagination–and I’ve got a hell of an imagination.

I knew I shouldn’t have touched her. Not so much as a finger, not even innocently.

But I did.

Carrie’s fiancée left her at the alter and she gets talked into taking her honeymoon trip anyway by her big brother’s best friend Blake.  They decide he will go with to keep an eye on heartbroken Carrie.  The plane ride is uneventful but they run into Kevin (douche ex-fiancée) and the model he left her for on the island.

Cue the age-old story of jilted lover makes ex regret it.  Then turn the heat up.

WAY UP!  This version is full of fun and games, like the “can you not scream out in orgasm while I make your fantasies come true in public” game, played right next to Kevin.

Will Blake be Carrie’s new future or is he just a tool she’s using to put the screws to Kevin?

Oh. My. God. Carrie Morgan can’t escape her cheating ex fiancé. She goes on her Hawaiian honeymoon fantasy vacation to prove she’s over him—but he’s there with his mistress in tow. Good thing Carrie’s annoyingly over-protective friend Blake came with her. How’s she going to prove to her ex she’s over him? Easy. One… Two… Three… She grabs Blake and kisses him.

Blake Harris isn’t about to let anyone take advantage of his heartbroken friend Carrie. And that includes himself, even if she’s sexy as sin in that bikini. Then she kisses him—and he’s on fire. Damage done, but he can back off. Except he sees that broken look in Carrie’s eyes. No. Hell no. New plan. He intends to show her ex just what he’s thrown away.

The kisses? For show. The heat? Part of the performance. The private practice sessions? Uh-oh. Those are starting to feel a bit too real…

He hustled her direction, and it wasn’t until he got closer that he saw the massive pink suitcase she was fighting with was broken, and the fuzz in question was coming from her—as in the bottom piece of her dress, and she was next in line to drop off her bag.

“Jesus Christ,” he said, walking up to her. She looked up from the fight with her bag, blew a lock of hair out of her face, and scowled.

“What the hell are you doing here?” she asked. There was that sass. He’d take attitude over her tears any day.

“I could ask you the same thing,” he said.

She pointed at her suitcase. “Well, you’re the genius with the idea to go on my honeymoon alone, and since my arms get tired when I flap them longer than ten minutes, I have to take an airplane to Hawaii.”

He raised a brow, his blood igniting in that way that only Carrie could make it. That snarky tone made him want to spar with her. But he knew her well enough to know she was still hiding pain beneath the brazen attitude.

“I’m glad to see you found your sassy pants,” he said. “Maybe they’ll keep you warm under that dress.”

She rolled her eyes and Blake continued.

“I’m glad you’re going and I’m glad you’re having your adventure. But I was serious about needing a—”

“Spotter?” she cut in, using his term from earlier.

“Yes. Carrie, you going alone isn’t an option.”

“Well I’m a grown up and I’m not taking my brother. That’s weird and, oh right, I’m. A. Grown up!” she said slowly, like he was an idiot.

“Lane can’t make it,” he said frankly and watched her eyes go wide, the truth hitting her.

“Lane sent you,” she said with venom in her voice. “How did he even know I was here?”

“He didn’t, I did,” Blake corrected quickly. “After our talk and realizing you wouldn’t wait, I tracked you down here.”

“Oh right, the infamous tracker,” she said, and Blake wished she sounded more impressed. Not sure why that mattered. Maybe he could contemplate that if he wasn’t too busy staring down plump, tan skin, currently heaving out of the top of her dress.

My god she looked incredible.

But Carrie was clearly in a mood, and he couldn’t blame her. Last thing he should be doing is checking her out. Which he wasn’t. Because not only was she just left at the altar, but she was his best friends little sister. No way in hell was he thinking of her in any other way other than a lady to be protected.

Truth be told, he thought she’d be a crying mess of sad clown makeup but instead, she was huffing from the suitcase, making the tight, low cut of her dress dip even more, giving him yet another prime view of the most perfect cleavage he’d ever seen.

Kevin was an idiot to not show up for a woman like her.

Stop thinking that way, she’s your buddy’s sister.

“Well you found me,” she said exasperated. “So you can report back that I’m fine. Bye.”

“Sorry, little girl, can’t do that.”

Solis (Modern Descendents #2) Elda Lore

ARC Received for honest review.

Elda Lore gives us another Greek Mythology lesson with her latest addition to her Modern Descendents series. Solis is the story of Veva, Persephone’s best friend and Solis, one of Uncle Zeke’s many children. A carefree player and a girl who doesn’t trust men. What could possibly be the problem?

Solis is used to getting what and who he wants. But Vee has a wall up around her that seems impenetrable. But Solis loves a good challenge. He slowly starts to break down the wall and work his way into her heart. He challenges her spirit and helps her conquer her fears. Will this be enough for Vee to trust Solis and open up her heart though.

I loved the first book in the series, Hades, but I think I might have loved Solis a tad more. Fortunately Hades and Persephone are reunited in this book so we can keep up on their love story.

I can’t wait to see what more we get from Elda Lore and these magical beings. I am hooked already. Thank you Elda Lore for teaching us Greek Mythology in a way that makes us fall in love with it.

Veva Matron is a feisty girl raging with suppressed anger and distrust of men.Solis Cronus is a blindingly beautiful, Greek god of a guy, who likes to play women.

A world of secrets reveals the destiny of two at odds with one another, and clouds the line between love and hate. Can a lively girl find calm in the stormy tension of a boy made of sunshine and sin?

The mythical tale of Zeus and Hera reignites in this modern interpretation of enemies to lovers. Full of flirty sexual angst and teasing temptation, Solis might be the one man who can extinguish Veva’s angry fire and ignite a different sort of flame: desire.

Jack went to the pantry area in the back of the kitchen and pulled a towel from the plastic wrapped bundle. It was plain white but it worked for his purposes, which was to clean up the house. He was glad to have one on hand to help the redhead who was quickly overtaking his thoughts.

She stood in the doorway, arms crossed, watching him with an intense stare. “Why?”

He glanced at the towel. “I bought one of those bulk packs. Figured I’d need—”

“No, not the towels. Why me?” She crossed her arms and waited. It seemed that this woman had more armor than an armadillo. A nearly impossible nut to crack.

“I like you. You don’t have any falseness about you. I find I need people who are who they say they are.” There was more to it than that, but that was the primary reason he’d been drawn to her.

“How do you know I’m not shining you on?”

“My gut tells me. I trust it.” He stepped toward her with the towel in one hand. When he reached the doorway, he leaned against the casing and looked down toward her freckled countenance. “Besides, you do laundry like a goddess.”

She smacked his shoulder. “Flatterer.”

“Is it working?” He kissed her, just a brush of the lips, then lapped at the seam of her mouth until she opened it.

Light surged through him as he kissed her, their tongues dancing and tangling. His body tightened and eagerly awaited more.

She broke the kiss and moved back a step, her lips glistening and swollen. “Good night, Jackson.”

“Will you come by later?”

“No, I’m not ready for later.” She kissed him once more, fast and hard, pressing her breasts into his chest.

He groaned. “You’re killing me.”

With that, she turned and left him standing there with an aching staff, wishing she was ready for later. Ronnie was like a drug he was fast becoming addicted to.

Hell Yeah!: Taboo Frequency by Gem Sivad

taboo-frequency-cover-1Hell Yeah!: Taboo Frequency

When ultimate impulse collides with maximum control…

It’s all about taking charge. Luke Danvers has his future planned to the nth degree—until he steps on an IED in Afghanistan. Bitter, angry, and emotionally adrift, he returns to the States, ready to spend the rest of his life pissed off at the world.

Kiley Endicott has never been a poster child for moderation. Married and widowed young, she’s raising twins on her own. Since impulse has always ruled her life, it’s not easy being a sedate parent under the critically watchful eye of her family.

A Friday night lapse in sanity, leads Kiley to a hook up with Luke Danvers. Even in the cab of a truck, he’s an awesome lover. She wants more. But she’s got to be circumspect, nobody can know.

Luke hasn’t had fun in—forever. But he can’t stop grinning after he meets Kiley Endicott. It’s more than her being a totally uninhibited lover, but God knows he can’t get enough of that either. She makes him laugh.

She says nobody can know. Okay, he’s trained in stealth. He sets up a call system, a taboo frequency, guaranteeing her twenty four hour access in every way. But he’s not just waiting for their secret meets. He’s planning a siege.

Blog Page Break 2

“Maybe we can help each other,” she said looking up at him. He didn’t know what she had in mind but listened to find out.

“I’m a single mom. I don’t have a steady man because I don’t want one hanging around my two kids who are right now with my mom. She doesn’t babysit often and aside from Marcie, I don’t leave them with anyone else. I have a full-time life that includes a job and no time for a relationship. ”

“And?” He squeezed her shoulders, urging her to make an offer he wasn’t going to refuse regardless of what it was.

“And—I have certain biological needs I’d like to satisfy with something other than plastic.” She closed her eyes, her blush denying the intimacies they’d just enjoyed at the same time her hand stroked his thigh, promising more.

“Well as to those biological needs—seems like we can find a way to get them satisfied. When you’ve got the time, I’ll find the place.” He pulled up next to her car and put the truck in park, idling in front of her sister’s house, waiting for Kiley’s answer.

When she remained mute, he decided coaxing was in order. “You do the calling,” he said, switching on his truck’s overhead light to search in the glove compartment for paper.

“I’d just as soon the whole town not know we’re carrying on,” Kiley murmured, her blush turning her pink cheeks to ruby.

“Carrying on?” After the uninhibited fucking they’d just engaged in, her old-fashioned description made him smile.

His quick rummaging turned up no paper, so before shutting off the overhead light, he held her hand and wrote his number on her palm. “If you change your mind and don’t call, it’s okay. I’ll not bother you. If you do call, I’ve marked your number a TF.”

“That’s military speak for taboo frequency—a contact too important to miss. You call when you’re able to get free and I’ll make sure we get together.”

He let her get half out the door before he added his last addendum to their deal. “As to the plastic, you might want to bring it along for a ride or two. No sense in letting it feel neglected.” He liked a little variety in the sheets and he figured he’d let her know up front, he wasn’t all vanilla. He had a feeling neither was she.
