Gray Donovan is the heroine. She’s beautiful, believable and can’t stop lying. Little lies or whoppers, they roll off her tongue with ease, even when completely unnecessary.
In an effort to keep her job and sanity, Gray goes into therapy. First with a tough female therapist then with Dr. Daniel Harrison.
Throughout this grim tale, we get to know some really interesting characters intimately. Emotional, tumultuous, joyous and hopeful, this is a story of, above all, love.
This is no light poolside read. It’s gritty and painful and left me with an emotional attachment to the characters.
